Bowarring Mentor Program
Identity Design
In Yorta-Yorta language, ‘bowarring’ means ‘bloom on trees’. This captures what Candace Williams mentoring program is all about – allowing our young women to thrive. As a culture and a community, we are the trees – the foundation they grow from – and they cannot bloom without us.
Drawing from Candace’s connection to the symbolism of the red gum flower. We worked together to develop an identity that best represented her program and her part in supporting the futures of young Aboriginal women. Along with a program brochure and merchandise for participants, I helped Candace make a tangible impact through her important work.
